Background Information

I am Kahnieke:ha - Mohawk. This is more than just a word, more than just a race. It is a whole way of life that embraces the culture and traditions of the Kahnieke:ha - People of the Flint.
Born on April 26, 1954, the sixth child of ten, I was raised in the Steel City of Hamilton and lived in many different places in Canada. Nowhere felt like home until I came back to Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory where I found my roots and learned again the ways and language of my Native heritage.

Additional Information

I have been happily married to Big Al Good since 1994.
We currently reside on Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory with our two cats and four dogs, two of which had previous owners who could no longer keep them and two are strays that we found and took in. Living in the country, we find a lot of dogs that have just been dumped here. I really HATE people who abandon their "pets" like that!
